    Toast

    Toast the bread until golden — a little firmness on the outside helps it carry the avocado.

    Smash

    Halve the avocado, scoop the flesh into a bowl, add lime juice and salt, and mash with a fork to a chunky texture.

    Plate

    Pile the avocado high on the toast. Drizzle with a thread of oil and finish with chili flakes. Eat immediately.
